Share What You Ride and Why

Hi all,

I want to know what each and everyone of you ride, and why you ride that specific scooter. I myself, it is rather obvious that I ride a Fatboy. She is a 2008 105th Anniversary edition, and I am still getting used to her as I road a Sporty, and a Dyna Superglide for many moons. I picked her up late last year, as I could not pass up the deal on got on such a gorgeous bike. Besides, who could not pass up owning a little piece of Harley's 105th, as well as HOG's 25th!! So why do I ride a Fatboy. Well I wanted a little bigger bike than what I had, I love the 6 speed, and the sound that comes out of that bike is music to my ears.

I only was able to put 1400 miles on her before our Wisconsin Winter dragged me to a screeching halt, so all I could do over the nasty winter was go out to the garage, take off her cover, put on my Favorite AC/DC CD and start up Molly (that is the name of my scooter, named after "The Unsinkable Molly Brown") and listen to the music pouring out of that engine.

I rode her yesterday for the 1st time this season, and froze my ass off for a short time, as Molly needed some work done at the shop (Bala's HD my Favorite Place to Shop) and I really did not care how cold it was, it was great hopping on the Interstate and making the short run. I thought about heading further, but I knew that the salt and sand had not been washed away as of yet, so I made it to the shop and left my scooter behind for a few days.

So now I look forward to many rides on my new scooter and cannot wait for the warmer days ahead!!

So when do you think "Riding Season" will arrive

Hi Everyone,
Well I am not much of a Blog Poster, but I am going to give this a shot!!! So I would like to hear from some optimistic individuals, that will inform me that riding season is right around the corner (yes I am asking this when the temp outside here in New Lisbon is a whopping 7 degrees above Zero!!) So any weather men or women want to give us a guess, as to when the first good rain is going to come, and wash the salt off the roads, so we can get our beloved bikes back on the road? Another thing I would like to hear about, is if anyone has any cool rides coming up, and maybe how you found that cool ride. And we should not forget to share our stories from past rides as well. So I hope all of you have fun posting out here, as well as reading what I hope will be many good stories to come!!
